I never got to visit Aquarius. To me in the UK, it was just an online presence that I discovered somewhen back in the 2010's. I don't even recall how. It was also probably the single most important source of the music that has formed a such a huge focus of my attention and joy every since. Can't wait to watch this 😊

Wow, I just discovered this and worked at the Noe Valley, S.F. Aquarius store full time in the early 1980's for a few years! Butch Bridges was the owner. He was a good guy, paid well and treated employees kindly. I was in my 20's! Without seeing the entire documentary and based on the official trailer page, I feel like the presentation of the shops history skipped over a few employees and stories that contributed to the uniqueness of the Noe Valley store. I worked with Brad (Peake) Saunders and Bruce Ackley at that time. Did the window displays featuring new releases, including when Prince launched Purple Rain! I even went to the wholesale warehouse in Brisbane, CA with Butch and Brad a few times to shop for vinyl. Of course, it was about the MUSIC, but there are old school employees out there like me, who were part of Aquarius history,. However small our part may have been, we were there!☠Please note: The url to the official "It came from Aquarius" documentary, is NOT secure!
